Cannot install Apex SDK on Windows 8

description

On windows 8, it gives an error "Could not access network location VC#\Snippets\1033\VisualC#", any idea why? I installed it successfully on Windows 7 though.

Interesting that you are having this issue on Windows 8 - I'll look into it (I have a Windows 7 and Windows 8 machine to test on).

I have got the same problem. Got it fixed by running setup as administrator, copy snippets and templates manually to right place (because it installs to the VS 2010 folder while iam running 2012) and correct the template files to point to the right version 1.4.0.0 -> 1.5.0.0. Would be nice if Dave bundle a new corrected package some time.
